Senior Development Manager - International Property Fund 

Up to £70,000 + Bonus & Benefits

The Role

Working with Asset Managers in leading all aspects of development works, including overall development management of new developments or existing assets across different sector classes ranging from commercial, retail, residential, industrial and logistics projects.

You will conceptualise development design requirements and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing the development of design concept/options for the developments.
• Managing the design consultants and liaising with all relevant authorities for approval of projects.
• Managing procurement processes, as well as construction and contract administration.
• Single point of accountability for the management of the development process from inception through to completion.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of Junior Development Managers.
•  Ensure the completion of projects is within budget, schedule and expected quality and comply with the regulatory requirements and corporate governance.

You

Should possess a Degree in Architecture, Building or Engineering (Structural or M&E) with at least 8 years' relevant development or project management experience in the execution of Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial and/or Logistics projects.

To succeed in this role, you should possess high level of independence, cultural sensitivity, endurance and adaptability and demonstrate excellent leadership to drive projects. You should also be someone who seeks continuous improvement to the design and processes through consistently questioning the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of the development. You must be able to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of Business Units, shareholders and environment.
