Salary: PO8 £48,495 - £51,453 p.a.

We are recruiting forward-thinking and innovative professionals who’ll place Property and Asset Management at the heart of the council’s broader organisational change agenda. 

In this key role you will work as part of a multi-activity estates team and provide professional property valuation and management advice on the Council's land and property assets, with a specialism in the sale of Council residential properties under the Right-to-Buy legislation.

You will manage your own diary and personal case load comprising of a wide range of property deals and transactions primarily with regard to HRA properties. This role involves dealing with the end-of-year housing stock valuation element of the annual asset valuation programme. You’ll also assist in the day to day running of the Council’s Property Portfolio.

About you

As a qualified or part qualified surveyor, you will have a broad knowledge of property markets, construction industry and of current legislation relevant to Asset Management and Health & Safety. 

You will also come with experience of managing a mixed and varied workload of conflicting priorities to deliver against required timelines and to respond effectively to the needs of all customers.
