We have an excellent opportunity to join one of the South East’s leading Property Consultancies. Barker Associates LLP is an established multi-disciplinary practice offering Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering and Architecture services to a wide variety of clients. 

The Role – Building Surveyor

Due to continued growth we currently have a vacancy for an APC level or Chartered Building Surveyor to work and assist in the development of our busy Survey Department.   
We work on a wide range of projects and professional services in the education, residential and commercial sectors. 

Responsibilities and experience

Principal tasks will be: 

• Building Surveys – commercial, residential
• Condition Surveys – commercial, educational
• Schedules of Dilapidations
• Schedules of Condition 

The candidate will be given opportunity to expand the role: Depending on the development of the department and the candidate’s own expertise, the role could incorporate other areas of practice. 
 
The Person

The role will suit a client-focussed, motivated individual wishing to join a thriving firm. 

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor preferred
• Experienced and confident in inspection and report preparation
• Experience and interest in historic buildings is desirable
• This role will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check
