Facilities & Projects Manager

A unique opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing organisation for such an individual to join the newly formed property team. This is a position that will work across around 12 - 15 sites in the North of England ensuring that they're properly managed through the use of the correct contractors. On many of the sites, there are often capital projects underway or in the pipeline and you will ideally be the person to work with these in conjunction with the Head of Construction. You will be selecting and vetting contractors to cover hard and soft services across the properties but you'll also work with a small team of in house caretakers to complete works on an ad-hoc basis. You will also ensure that H&S standards are met across your sites whilst being vigilant for areas to improve on.

There is currently very little strategy or process in place which offers the incoming individual the opportunity to be flexible in their approach but also work towards bringing in processes and procedures.

You will ideally come from an environment where you've had few processes in place but you've worked towards bringing them in. You will also ideally have a bias towards hard services and not be shy to be hands on if the situation calls for it, but equally, not be too overly hands on that you want to fix everything yourself!
