Group Quality & Environmental Manager
A unique opportunity for a Group Quality & Environmental Manager to join a global construction and engineering multinational in its Asia headquarters in Hong Kong.
The Company
The Group Quality & Environmental Manager will join a leading international construction company, delivering a portfolio of high-profile infrastructure projects throughout Asia, especially Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Iraq.
It is a member of a global group which employs over 50,000 people
The Role
The Group Quality & Environmental Manager is directly responsible for developing a business wide Q&E strategy and developing programs and process to ensure that the strategy is fully embedded across the entire Asia footprint.
This involves tracking, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of the businesses Q&E performance and giving clear guidance to Q&E teams so as to maintain adherence to Q&E standards and compliance norms.
It includes maintaining oversight on system document management with the objective of delivering efficient quality and environmental management on projects and thus meeting the specific requirements of the client, government bodies and employer.
The Person
The successful Group Quality & Environmental Manager will be able to demonstrate:
- Bachelor degree in Quality & Environmental related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Q&E management role in a very large company
- Good knowledge of statutory requirements, quality management and ISO standards
- Fluency in English
- Experience outside of the region, preferably UK or Australia
This is a corporate level role rather than a project level role. You must have corporate level experience to be considered.
