TEMPORARY PLANNER
London
£550-£650 per day
We are looking for a temporary Planner/Scheduler to work within a Commercial Developer team that sits within the real estate division, based in a London Consultancy. This consultancy is well recognised, successful and thriving company; the projects will be on a large scale, involving mixed use, residential, commercial and retail sectors.
The Role
* To produce schedules for complex projects or linked projects forming programmes
* To help prepare tenders to secure new work
* To provide intelligence-based schedules for construction projects, using experience and site knowledge
* To analyse contractors' schedules to identify excessive activity duration with a view to accelerating delivery
* NEC contracts and the contractual requirement to accept or reject contractor programmes
Experience and Qualifications
* Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture.
* 5-10 years' experience
* Currently a Planner/Senior Planner with a contractor, developer or consultancy
* Experience using BIM/Technology issues relating to scheduling - ASTA, MSP or P6 primavera software is regularly used therefore a good knowledge of these is necessary
* Experience of dealing with clients and questioning their programmes
