Assistant Building Surveyor

An independent Chartered Building Surveying practice based in Surbiton are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor with 12+ months industry experience to join their expanding team.

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will carry out the full-remit of traditional building surveying services, receive full APC support to achieve MRICS and work across sectors, predominantly focusing on the London residential market.

Ideal for an Assistant Building Surveyor based in Surrey/South West London, hoping to get chartered without incurring the cost of the daily Central London commute.

The Role

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will carry out a variety of traditional building surveying services including;

  • Due diligence/building surveys
  • Contract administration
  • Party wall matters
  • Dilapidations
  • Specification of works

The Successful Assistant Building Surveyor

  • 1+ years industry experience in a client-facing building surveying role
  • Have started their APC diary
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • A client-facing demeanour
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
