As lead member of the North River Alliance we manage a new homes programme of 200 plus homes a year. We have recently changed our procurement strategy to help us deliver more sustainable homes long term. We are now recruiting to this key position to help us become a more intelligent client.

For this role you will:

• Help research new materials and new methods of construction for our new homes.
• Be involved in the detailed design and specification of new homes.
• Be responsible for the approval of detailed contract documentation
• Ensure adequate quality control processes are in place in delivering the project
• Manage the Quality Control inspectors within the development team or employed as consultants ensuring homes are delivered to the standard of workmanship
• Help to resolve latent defects including historic issues of non-compliance with building regulations.
• Identify common failures and recommend changes to the standard specification where required

If you have a thorough knowledge of building regulations, and site inspection/quality control processes, have a minimum HNC, HND or CIOB or equivalent in construction-related subject, then we would love to hear from you.
