Graduate Quantity Surveyor, Private Practice, Aberdeen, £21-25k DOE + APC Support

Your new company
For this job, one of Scotland's oldest and most respected Quantity Surveying Practices require a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Aberdeen. They have a reputation for delivering innovative solutions for their clients and have expertise providing construction contract advice, dispute resolution and CDM Principle Designer duties. They provide these services across various sectors, including Social Housing, Local Authorities, Developers, Education, Healthcare, Contractors, Property Owners and Project Teams.

Your new role
For this role, you'll play a key part within this expanding team and be exposed to the full range of pre & post contract Quantity Surveying duties. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, design and engineering professionals. You'll get to run with a variety of projects in various sectors that will range in scope and size.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll ideally be a recent Graduate Quantity Surveyor, determined to further a career within practice and become Chartered. You'll be an excellent communicator, be able to work on your own initiative and have a clean current DVLA licence. Ideally, you'll have some work experience within consultancy or contractor and good general knowledge of construction. You'll be able to demonstrate the ability to do Bills of Quantity in SMM7 and/or NRM formats and excellent general IT skills.

You'll have the opportunity to utilise your full range of QS skills across both Pre & Post Contract along with the opportunity to oversee projects in various sectors from feasibility to completion.
