Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor

Our client is a well-established building consultancy based in Weybridge, Surrey. 

Employing around 50 strong, they provide an octagon approach in services, which in turn allows them to sustain, long-standing relationships with clients from Universities through to large corporate Retailers. 

These services range from; Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Health & safety, Structural & Civil Engineering and Facilities Management.

You will join at a senior level, to which you will be considered a key appointment within the team and your clients trusted advisor within the commercial space. 

The team you will be joining are a handful strong, formed of one partner, one associate and a number of APC Building Surveyors. Typically, projects are procured via JCT & NEC and range from a few hundred thousand, up to around £4-5m.

As a key appointment to the business. You will lead every project tasked with, from inception, employed as the client’s key point of contact, through to the design and development phases, project delivery and post-occupation. 

You will be expected to nurture these relationships, adopting a pro-active, inclusive, hands-on approach to each and every commission. 

The successful applicant will be MRICS with a minimum of 2yrs PQE, who has experience in the aforementioned sectors. You will be a leader who is keen to develop their career and take on more responsibility. As the business grows, you will also take on the role of APC mentor helping guide your younger peers through an important time of their career.

It is imperative that you are an effective communicator, who is clear when providing instructions and has the ability to think outside the box when dealing with complex projects/situations.
