Carriera have been retained by a privately owned building surveying practice in Reigate, in order to secure a senior building surveyor.

This is the ideal role for somebody looking for a fresh alternative to the large multi-disciplines and long commutes, and in turn work for a very successful, dynamic and inspiring business, who are based locally.

Established in 2012, the business employs 5 strong, working throughout the private residential and commercial space, providing project and professional services to clients across London and the South East.

Some of there projects vary from high-value residential developments to managed property, together with penthouse design and construction, predominantly in central London. In addition, they also deliver a wide range of expert witness advice in relation to landlord and tenant disputes.

The position will see you join as a senior building surveyor working alongside the Managing Director, one Director, and two late APC Building Surveyors, who have all come from consultancy backgrounds.

The workload will be inspiring, challenging and very rewarding. You will be seen as your clients trusted advisor, whether that be providing professional advice regarding dilapidations or party wall matters, through to project managing commercial schemes valued up to £8m. You will also be involved in the development and expansion of the business, bringing ideas to the table whilst also assisting your peers as they approach their final APC exams.

It is imperative that you are chartered with a good understanding of professional services and able to work under your own initiative. The business encourages longevity, so it is important that you see yourself there for the long term as oppose to the short stay.
