Building Surveyor/Senior BS (MRICS)

Our client a SME with offices throughout the UK are looking to grow their current Building Surveying division in Birmingham with the addition of an MRICS Building Surveyor and are looking to consider applications from newly qualified BS up to Associate level.

The role involves all aspects of traditional Building Surveying services including professional consultancy advice and contract administration of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be working with clients in both the public and private sectors.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Independent delivery of consultancy advice on a broad range of building surveying services, including design and contract administration, acting as lead on multi-discipline schemes, survey activities, party wall and neighbourly matters, dilapidations etc
* Full duties as contract administrator.
* Managing relationships with clients and sub-contractors

Experience:

* Previous experience in a similar Building Surveying role
* Good communication and relationship building skills
* BSc in Building Surveying (or similar)
* RICS membership would be preferred
* Able to demonstrate a good level of previous experience in all aspects of Building Surveying.
