Senior Planner - Marine

Our client is a reputable construction contracting company seeking a Senior Planner to work on large scale infrastructure and marine related projects. The role will be based in Dubai and will be responsible for the overall planning, scheduling and coordination of the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of planners
• Developing and maintaining project planning and reporting standards and procedures
• Preparation and maintenance of the project work break down structure and integrated project master schedule
• Ensure co-ordination with Consultants and Contractors through effective communication
• Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors schedules and progress reports
• Perform critical path analysis of schedules
• Prepare independent risk analyses of Consultant and Contractor schedules
• Preparation of monthly and weekly reports

Requirements

• BSc in Civil Engineering is essential
• Chartered status is preferred
• Minimum of 15 years post qualified experience, including experience in the Middle East region with construction/contracting backgrounds
• Minimum of 7 years in a senior role
• Exposure to high scale infrastructure projects including; roads, highways, bridges and utilities
• Exposure to marine and port projects
• Competent using Primavera 6
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
