Job Description

• Preparation of Tenders for new enquiries
• Preparation of costing submissions to include time, materials and labour estimates
• Analysis of financial data and budgets across on-going Contracts
• Reviewing Drawings and Job Costs and highlighting any areas of concern
• Monitoring live jobs to ensure that performance is within budget
• Monitor, control and agree subcontract variation accounts
• Prepare materials schedules and take-offs
• Visit sites to carry out accurate measurements
• Carry out job cost analysis
• Prepare and submit accurate, detailed and timely applications for payments and valuations of contract variations
• Attend pre-start meetings to negotiate and agree contractual terms
• Prepare, submit and agree final accounts
• Assist the Finance team in the collection of payments in accordance with sub-contract terms, including the resolution of any disputed charges
• Ensure good quality and accurate records are kept and maintained

Experience

Minimum of five years experience in the end to end delivery of residential and commercial projects up to a value of around £3m.

Skills

Good IT skills including a working knowledge of industry standard estimating software

Ability to work to timescales and budgets

Strong communication and organisational skills
