Trainee Surveyor - Corby Borough Council - Estates Department

Corby Borough Council is looking to recruit a Trainee Surveyor on a permanent basis to work in their Estates Department from either an Estates or Building Surveying background. Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• To acquire and develop estates and general property management skills through helping to manage the Council’s property portfolio

• To assist in carrying out commercial and residential valuations

• To carry out under appropriate supervision lease renewals, rent review, new lettings and lease assignments

• To assist in the Council’s operational portfolio development

• To be knowledgeable in the use of electronic management and asset planning systems

• To help draft and present Reports to working parties, committees or other member bodies

• To procure outside professional services
