You will be working for a unique organisation based in Swindon. This organisations work is focused around conservation and listed building work so you will need to be an expert in this field. This company are looking for a Head Of Survey & Asset Management to head up the historic building surveying team.

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Historic Building Surveyors and Coordinators in developing the approach to recording and assessing the condition of the estate. Drawing from asset management data, you will work with colleagues within the department to analyse, prioritise and plan an ongoing programme of major conservation projects across the country, reporting on performance against new conservation KPI. You will work in partnership with others to introduce new approaches to technology that will deepen the understanding of condition, vulnerability and risk.

What you'll need to succeed
As the Head Of Survey & Asset Management, you will be familiar with current and emerging approaches to survey and the use of asset management systems. You will be confident managing change and leading people to achieve agreed standards and results. You will be able to think strategically, helping to pull together long term plans and approaches to improving conservation and related visitor infrastructure. You will need to hit the ground running and relish the opportunity to drive this new role forward for the benefit of our estate and collections. Your leadership and proven team management skills will be easily recognisable. A confident communicator is a must for this post. You must had a vast knowledge and understanding of conservation.
