This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Business and Investor Advisory team based in London as a Senior Consultant, supporting the leadership of a growing Property Advisory team. The consultancy is a top 10 firm named in the Building Magazine top 150 consultancies, offering services covering every aspect of today's built environment all over the world.

The Property Advisory team specialises in providing development, consultancy and management to both private and public sectors, usually on complex regeneration projects. You will be working very closely with the master planning, building and infrastructure teams at the early stages of the development process.

If you are a senior consultant with a strong commercial acumen, a good knowledge of the UK town planning system and the ability to manage complex financial models - we might just have the perfect role for you!

The Role

The Senior Consultant role will require you to lead development consultancy projects, managing complex and challenging projects with oversight and support from the senior leadership of the team. You will be responsible for agreeing the scope and budget of assignments and manager these accordingly to deliver projects profitably on time and in line with agreed targets.

The role will client facing, therefore you will be operating with a high degree of autonomy in terms of project delivery and business development. The successful candidate will be expected to show team working, leadership and judgement - taking responsibility for the performance of the team in delivery transaction advice.

An important part of this role is to process the improvement and continuous development of the team. This requires you to actively participate in opportunities to feed learning back into the team to enhance and develop the high quality work products as effectively as possible.

Requirements

* Experience in development management/consultancy
* Highly competent financial modelling in both Excel and Argus
* Excellent English verbal, written and presentational communication skills - multiple languages also considered highly desirable
* Excellent team working and leadership skills
* A high level of commercial amen couple with an entrepreneurial spirit
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* Strong networking and relationship management skills
* Dedicated commitment to continuing professional development of self and others
* Expertise in areas of specialist knowledge - proven ability of active participation in industry thinking and leadership
* Willingness to travel

Qualifications

* Graduate degree or equivalent in an appropriately related subject
* Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent qualification with a recognised professional institution
