Projects Officer - Devon

Projects Officer required to deliver both corporate and commercial projects across an expansive portfolio

Your new company
As a Projects Officer in this role you will joining a client-side delivery team who are responsible for upgrading and maintaining an expansive portfolio of commercial property across the Devon & Mid-Devon region. Your new office is based within easy commute from the M5 motorway, and is also accessible via rail and bus links.

Your new role
As a Projects Officer you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of commercial projects implementing efficient cost control at all times and ensuring projects are completed ensuring good value for money. You will be involved in a wide range of project management tasks, including inviting contractors to tender, ensuring principle designer actions are met and ensuring works are carried out to the required specification.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as a Projects Officer you will ideally have building management experience and project management skills, with the ability to deliver to targets and deadlines.

What you'll get in return
In return for joining your new client in this interim Projects role, you will be offered an initial interim contract with an hourly rate, this is highly likely to extend and on the provision that you meet the criteria set you''ll have the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
