Director of Infrastructure

Our client is an international project management consultancy, they have an urgent requirement for a Director of Infrastructure to join their team in Abu Dhabi and oversee their Infrastructure division. Candidates applying for this role must have 20 years’ experience and a proven track record of winning mega infrastructure projects within the GCC.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for strategic  infrastructure business development activities and to ensure business targets are met
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships
• Identify business development strategies
• Manage the proposal preparation process
• Monitor the financial performance
• Ensure large infrastructure projects are delivered efficiently according to specifications
•  

Requirements:

• 20+ years of experience within engineering industry with strong proposal and BD management experience
• Previous roles of a similar nature for a reputable construction/engineering consultancy within their infrastructure division.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
• Must be fluent in English language
• Strong editing and proof reading capability
• Excellent technical and communication skills
• Strong project delivery skills
• Experience doing BD for Infra in the GCC
• Arabic speaking is a plus but not a necessity
