My client are a successful and quickly growing consultancy based in central London (zone 1). They have a social, friendly, and inclusive office culture and as a result have a long standing team of professionals. Their busy Healthcare team are in need of a new Cost Consultant (must be MRICS Chartered) to assist with the increasing work load, and need someone who is an expert in the Healthcare sector.

Whether you have client-side (perhaps directly for the NHS) experience or consultancy experience, if you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant with proven Healthcare sector experience, I want to hear from you! With proven success in this sector they want someone who can hit the ground running in the role, and report directly to the Project Director.

In the role you will be assisting a team of Project Managers, so experience through the full lifecycle of a Healthcare project is essential - from Strategic Business Case to Final Accounts.

The successful Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant will offer the following:

• A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
• MRICS is essential for this role
• Proven success working in the Healthcare / Public sector
• Strong negotiation and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive approach to work
• Previous consultancy experience is an advantage
• The ability to confidently run client meetings with other project professionals
