Client-side Project Manager - Architecture background - Hotels

My client is one of the most successful hotel owner-operators in London. With an impressive portfolio of property, worth over £1bn, they are seeking a chartered architect with project management experience to lead on the design and delivery of a new 5* hotel within their portfolio. This role would suit a Project Manager from a consultancy or architectural practice looking to move in to a client-side role.

Based out of their high-end London offices, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of some of London's most desirable hotel and residential projects. Reporting in to the Property Director, you will be tasked with making key strategic decisions on behalf of the business. Although a fast-paced and innovative business, my client also appreciates the importance of an enjoyable environment and work-life balance. This is highlighted through the variety in social events and the mature views on flexible working.

Responsibilities:

* Project Management
* Overseeing the design brief for a new 5* hotel
* Overseeing the delivery of the 5* hotel on site
* Manage architects, project teams and contractor
* Budgeting, monitoring and updating financial forecasts and cash flows on projects
* Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Sales, marketing and design)
* Support the senior leadership team

Requirements:

* Project Management experience
* Hospitality and hotel experience (desirable, not essential)
* Experience of delivering projects on site
* Architecture degree
* Open-minded and flexible in approach
* Lateral thinker and problem solver
* Experience of appointing and managing external consultants and contractor (desirable, not essential)
