My client, a leading professional building consultancy, is currently seeking a chartered building surveyor to work as part of their building consultancy team in Guildford, providing high calibre professional advice to blue chip commercial clients.

Primarily working within the commercial sector you will undertake / be experienced in:

Refurbishment and redevelopment projects; contract administration; technical due diligence; pre-acquisition surveys; acting as monitoring surveyor; general building surveying commercial work e.g. dilapidations.

MRICS with minimum 2/3 years post qualification experience you will have sound knowledge of building contracts (for commercial client work) be computer literate and able to meet fee targets and generate new business. They are looking for a driven, high energy surveyor from a commercial background who is happy to be client facing. You will be working with investor type clients within retail, office and industrial portfolios, as well as clients such as Portman Estate. You must be from a professional services background with experience of surveys, TDD, PPM etc. Not a Project Manager or Contract Administrator.
