BASED IN TAUNTON

Commencing Salary for an experienced Estates Specialist is £38,392 however, the successful candidate may be appointed on a lower salary appropriate to their skills and experience.

WPD is the largest electricity distribution network operator in the UK. We own and operate 221,000 kilometres of overhead lines and underground cables which deliver electricity to more than 7.8 million customers across South Wales, the Midlands and South West of England.

We are looking for an Estates Specialist who will work in the Taunton area, and will be required to negotiate complex consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements in respect of the location of distribution assets. You will also be required to settling significant damage claims, and resolve customer complaints. Training will be provided to achieve your full potential; you will also be required to fulfil the requirements of WPD’s Assessment of Professional Competence for New Estates Specialists.

You will need to be mobile throughout the area and a flexible attitude is essential as you may be asked to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting its objectives.
