An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Estate Management as a Senior Estates Surveyor. This role is part of the Estate Property Team.
The role holder will undertake the professional management of properties in both the University's operational and non-operational property portfolios providing advice on all aspects of property management, acquisition and disposal. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of individuals at all levels, both within Estate Management and the wider University and will therefore need to have excellent communication skills and be comfortable and confident presenting papers and proposals to committees and panels.
Working closely with Estate Management's three Development Managers and be responsible for the line management of the two current Estate Surveyors, the successful candidate will need to effectively and efficiently manage their own time and workload and that of the staff that they are responsible for.
A MRICS and Registered Valuer qualifications are essential for this role, in addition to post qualification experience in a property management role, either in the public or private sector. Applicants will need to be commercially aware and enjoy working as a member of an integrated team while also having the ability to work independently to achieve their own targets and goals.
