Are you a GRADUATE SURVEYOR looking for your first job, or are you already employed but ready for a move?

Would you like to work with an established diverse and dynamic, multidisciplinary property consultancy? Does a career as a commercial surveyor in the County of Norfolk interest you, within one of the UK’s fastest growing regions? Then please get in touch so we can discuss how Arnolds Keys graduate programme can help you start your career and work towards your APC, in your chosen discipline.

We are seeking two tenacious individuals with drive, passion, excellent communication skills and a desire to immerse yourself in learning about the local and regional property markets. Our Commercial Department is busy and proactive, and full assistance by an experienced team of experienced Chartered Surveyors is given, so being willing to be a team player and to learn quickly is a must.

The role is varied but you will be given the opportunity to specialise in both the professional and agency aspects of the role of the commercial surveyor, with a view to developing into your preferred pathway. This may lead towards becoming a commercial agency surveyor, or commercial valuation surveyor, but you will also have the opportunity to gain experience in our residential and rural disciplines, to provide a broad experience base which will help greatly in attaining your chartered status.

Initially, you will be trained in all aspects of:

  • Undertaking property inspections and producing marketing appraisals.
  • Negotiating both leasehold and freehold deals with applicants and vendors/landlords.
  • Identifying opportunities in the market.
  • Providing an acquisition service for clients seeking a new commercial property.
  • Dealing with a wide variety of properties across a range of sectors; industrial, office, retail, investment and commercial development.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Red Book Valuations
  • Professional work including rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations

We have a dedicated APC trained supervisor who will assist with the guidance and mentoring aspects of your two-year rotational training, provide coaching in your critical analysis, and your final assessment interview. You will be given every opportunity to build up your CPD, being both from our established internal structured training programmes, and external RICS accredited courses.

We offer a competitive salary, great working environment, a flexible benefits package, and a beautiful and affordable county in which to live and work. If this role sounds like the career move you are after, please email guy.gowing@arnoldskeys.com including your CV and a brief summary of why the job interests you, or for an informal conversation, please call Guy on 01603 216804
