Associate Director Project Manager

THE ROLE

My client seeks a Associate Director Project Manager to join them in MANCHESTER

You will carry out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.

They are working on new build, refurbishment, upgrade etc. for commercial, residential, leisure and higher education sectors.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of multi disciplinary construction consultants mainly focusing on project management, cost management and building surveying plus engineering.

They have a number of offices all round the U.K.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc, BSc Hons or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or other construction subject.

You will also need to be MRICS, MAPM or similarly qualified.

You also need to have at least six years' minimum experience working in another firm of consultants in the construction industry as a project manager.

Experience of project management of construction projects from feasibility to delivery on site plus preparation of tender documentation, monitoring of costs.

You should be able to mentor and support Assistants through their APC.

You will need to have worked on all stages of construction project management e.g. RIBA stages 1 - 6 and have good client facing skills plus be IT literate.

Experience of working on medium to large sized construction property projects for commercial developers, residential, corporate occupier and education projects is required.

Salary will be in the range of £55000 to £65000 per annum, plus car allowance, RICS fees, pension, bonus etc.
