Estates Surveyor

£33,136 - £35,229 per annum
37 hours per week
Opportunity to join a busy Estates Team delivering an in-house property service. The team is responsible for the management of a property portfolio with a rent roll of circa £2.8 million, as well as the provision of valuation work and playing a key role in Council led regeneration and development projects.
In this role you will contracted to a 37 hour week with a flexible working arrangement and be primarily office based with some business travel to Council owned premises for site visits.
We are seeking a surveyor to help us provide a professional estate management service. Day to day responsibilities will primarily include dealing with all aspects of property management such as asset disposals, valuations, granting leases, rent reviews, lease renewals and all other tenancy matters.
You will be required to:
- Have in depth knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law
- Be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have Valuer Registration
- Be a great communicator – able to speak clear English and write concise reports
- Have good IT skills
- Be patient with bureaucratic internal processes whilst actively contributing to the streamlining of real estate processes
