Associate Director (Quantity Surveyor)

Associate Director Quantity Surveyor opportunity based in Liverpool.

Your new company

You will be joining a world-class independent property and construction consultancy with over 100 years' experience. Due to growth they are looking to expand the Liverpool office with an Associate Director of Quantity Surveying. They work across a mix of sectors including commercial, local authority, residential, industrial, health, retail, education, leisure, hospitality etc. Services they offer are: building surveying, project management, quantity surveying, health and safety, asset management etc.


Your new role
Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for a range of pre and post contract surveying duties including: - Budget estimating - Preparation of tender documents - Reporting on tenders - Assembly of contract documentation - Cost reporting - Interim valuations - Agreement of final accounts You will be working on projects based in Liverpool, North West and North Wales across a range of sectors, both Private and Public, to include, Education, Health, Commercial, Residential and blue light. This role, will also involve raising the profile of the business in Liverpool and the surrounding area, including forecasting, preparing and presenting fee submissions and business development. You will also be actively involved in managing, and mentoring the team in order to deliver projects profitably and to meet targets.


What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for applications from individuals with a broad spectrum of pre and post contract skills and experience in managing major building contracts. You should have current, or previous experience working in a Consultancy environment. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a professional manner, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work. You will ideally be MRICS qualified or have demonstrable consultancy or client side experience.
