QUANTITY SURVEYOR – KITCHEN INSTALLATION SECTOR

Project Kitchens is one of the leading kitchen installation specialists working on a wide variety of residential building projects across the UK.

To assist our further expansion we now require an experienced and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to manage and develop the cost management element of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to perform a key role in the Company.

Reporting to the Directors you will be working closely with our experienced project management team to develop, manage and refine cost control on projects with individual values up to £8 Million.

We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate, preferably MRICS or equivalent with at least 5 years post qualification experience and a thorough knowledge of Contracts.

You will need a solid understanding of construction techniques, programming, Health and Safety and the logistics associated with large multi rise mixed developments across the UK.

You will be able to negotiate and communicate with the leading principle contractors in the UK as well as having excellent cost control skills. You will also be willing to travel across the UK attending meetings, negotiating contracts etc.

Applicants will be expected to refine existing processes and implement new cost control and reporting systems.

We are advocates of continued advancement and will offer full support on CPD activities.
