Dacorum Building Control Services operate a service which is becoming recognised as entrepreneurial and capable of developing imaginative services.

The role is responsible for ensuring that service and operational objectives are met within the service team and that all customers receive services which provide improvement and value for money.

We are looking for a Building Control Officer with the ability and motivation to operate with the minimum of supervision and the drive to support the new and exciting challenges in the building control service.

If you are able to operate outside the normality of traditional building control and provide immediate responses to customer requests, including the checking of building regulation submissions, this could be the role for you.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are amazed at our service whilst ensuring that building work conforms to the standards of the building regulations.

Applicants must have an extensive knowledge of the building control legislation together with the appropriate qualifications or alternatively be in a position to obtain such a qualification or experience as part of an induction process.

Applicants must have a full driving licence which is valid in the UK and daily access to a vehicle.
