This is a great opportunity for a qualified Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join a well known retailer and play a key role in the effective delivery of their construction programme. This role will be based in the Midlands with travel when required.

Description

The Senior Cost Manager will play a key role in ensuring an effective cost management and reduction strategy is in place across this retailer's large scale construction investment programme. They will be expected to play an active role developing and implementing the strategy, working effectively with internal and external Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers, programme delivery teams and stakeholders in Retail Operations, to ensure a proactive approach to cost management.

This individual will need to be based in the Midlands with the ability to travel as the role require.

Profile

The Senior Cost Manager will ideally be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, with experience of retail build and refurbishment projects, in either a in-house, consultant or contractor capacity. They will be highly commercial and analytical in approach with the capability to influence at all levels to ensure an appropriate strategy is developed and implemented. Suitable candidates for the role will be based in or around the Midlands.
