My client are a construction consultancy specialising in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, and they have an ever expanding team in London. They are looking for the newest member of their Marketing team, to take on the role of Bids & Marketing Assistant.

This is a role for someone who is positive, proactive, passionate about marketing, and passionate about pursuing a career in the construction sector. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but Marketing experience in a different industry would also be considered.

The successful Bids & Marketing Assistant will offer the following:

• Ideally 1- 2 years Bid Coordination experience
• Monitoring/searching opportunities and OJEUs
• Knowledge of bid documentation including PQQs, EOI's and ITT
• Graphic Design/ Editing
• Adobe InDesign experience - Basic will be considered too
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written communication skills
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Confidence, experience and the ability to collate relevant analysis and research
• Fluency in Social Media

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Working with Directors and Marketing Manager across the business to produce winning first and second stage bids
• Daily OJEU and portal searching to identify relevant opportunities
• Updating an internal bid text library
• Ensuring bids are technically compliant as well as presented well
• Assist with client presentations
• Production of graphic marketing material
• Market Research of industry events
• Networking and growing our industry contacts with a specific focus on potential clients
• General Market research and light analysis
• Creative input for Social Media
