Intermediate Project Manager / Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

Summary:

  • Position: An established and well-respected Construction and Property Consultancy based in Central Birmingham are seeking an Intermediate Project Manager / Project Manager
  • Role: Intermediate Project Manager / Project Manager - New Build / refurbishment (Commercial /Residential / Office)
  • Person: Intermediate Project Manager / Project Manager with Consultancy experience circa 2 years minimum, articulate, well presented, a solid academic foundation and eager to develop and learn.

An established and well-respected Construction and Property Consultancy based in Central Birmingham are seeking an Intermediate Project Manager / Project Manager to join their expanding practice.

The Role

As the project Manager, you will be supporting the project management team in key processes, which will include risk management and issue and change control. You will ensure timely delivery of the project and within budget. As well as:

  • Support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • Preparation of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post-handover

The Person

As the Project Manager, you will ideally have 2+ years post qualification experience and working towards MRICS, MAPM or other relevant qualification, as well as:

  • Client facing, well presented and articulate
  • Excellent Written, communication and presentation skills
  • A solid academic foundation with a construction related degree
  • Excellent understanding of forms of building contracts (including NEC3)
  • Career focussed with a strong desire to develop and learn
