Consultancy - Birmingham - Quantity Surveyor

A world leading project and programme management consultancy with a continuing success of delivering commercial and cost management services to high profile clients, their Birmingham office is seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team to support a diverse range of projects across the Midlands.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

  • Prepare feasibility studies
  • Manage cost estimating and cost planning process, including presenting final reports to clients
  • Contribute to selecting appropriate procurement route and tendering strategy
  • Prepare tender and contract documents
  • Review, analyse and report on tenders received
  • Understand and administer (under supervision) standard forms of contract, such as JCT and NEC
  • Ensure post contract change is managed effectively
  • Undertake monthly valuations
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Strong communication skills making you able to manage stakeholders effectively.

In Return:

  • £45,000 - £50,000
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Discretionary bonus

Essential:

  • Strong pre & post contract experience
  • Ideally MRICS / Towards Sitting APC
