Interim Estates Surveyor

This Hertfordshire based Local Authority requires an interim Estates Surveyor to join their property team to help ensure the estate is managed efficiently.

To be considered for the role, you should have experience in delivering efficient day to day management of property portfolios. This includes but is not limited to the following: -

• Valuation and negotiation relating to rent reviews,
• Lease Renewals
• Landlord and Tennant
• New lettings
• Land sales and other property related transactions

The successful candidate will need to: -

• Be educated to degree level with significant property management experience, including lease renewals and rent reviews and landlord and tenant law, but with an emphasis on commercial premises.
• Have the ability to produce valuations and to negotiate with other parties on property transactions of all sorts.
• Have knowledge of Landlord and Tennant act 1954,
• Instruct other teams and external professionals as required.
• Act as a point of contact for the team
• Have the ability to work under their own initiative and to be a motivated self-starter
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• RICS membership (desirable but not essential)

This is a 12-week interim role paying a rate of £350-£400 a day (inside IR35) with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
