Principal Estates Surveyor

Joshua Robert Recruitment are working with a Public Sector organisation based in Nottingham.  With a variety of development presently underway and an interesting property portfolio, this organisation is now looking for high calibre individuals to join their growing team.

As a Principal Surveyor you will play an integral role within a busy Estates team; leading on the provision of property advise and the undertaking of valuation work in respect of their Property Portfolio. 

As well as dealing with the day to day estate management (recovery of arrears, tenant liaison, asset management, undertaking inspections, negotiation with occupiers etc.) you will create, lead and be responsible for project teams to develop areas of specialised expertise.  In addition, you will participate and lead inter-departmental project teams to develop and implement the Corporate Asset Management Plan.

The successful individual will have MRICS with relevant post qualification experience.  You must be able to demonstrate significant experience of delivering property development including but not limited to business case properties, feasibility assessment, market engagement, negotiations and provision of advice on all types of property.  In addition, you will possess a sound knowledge of the law and the valuation practises required in managing a mixed property portfolio.
