My client, a leading professional building consultancy with offices across the UK, is seeking appoint a surveyor into their Heathrow Community Scheme, involving the installation of windows and doors as part of a noise reduction scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in the commercial building consultancy team, providing high calibre professional advice to both tenants and the client, and working closely with contractors to ensure the work is carried out to the highest standard.

You will undertake specification compliance audits of completed window installations to residential properties; financial checks of contractor’s submitted applications for payment against an agreed schedule of rates; maintain accurate expenditure schedules; certify payments; liaise with client’s financial team; attend and chair progress meetings attended by contractor/client representative and type up and send out minutes and implement actions.

You will have a basic knowledge of building surveying and building costs with the ability to identify defects in residential properties and write brief reports.
