Associate M&E Building Services Engineer - London
£65,000 - £70,000 plus package and bonus
Capstone are representing a leading and international real estate consultancy, who are looking to appoint an Associate M&E Building Services Engineer/Consultant, to lead a new business unit and service offering they are planning to build.
The role will offer engineering support to their Property Management, Building Surveying and Project Management teams, and will involve undertaking Condition Surveys, Technical Due Diligence, Dilapidation Studies and Condition Reports, and respective reporting on all types of building services across commercial offices, retail portfolios and industrial units.
The role will also include tendering M&E maintenance contracts, auditing such contracts and providing day-to-day advice to the building management team on technical issues.
Additionally, the successful engineer will work closely with the Design & Projects team to provide project management, monitoring and performance specification advice for CapEx, lifecycle replacement, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
The Associate M&E Building Services Engineer should have a working knowledge of: Electrical Distribution, Air Conditioning Systems, including VRV, VAV, Chilled Water Systems, Heating, Controls and BMS, Fire Alarms, Security and Access Systems and Lifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Building Services Consultancy, Technical Services Management, Contracts Management, Project Engineering or Hard Services Facilities Management role. They should also be able to demonstrate a professional outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential.
