CHP is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association based in Chelmsford, Essex, and was named one of the top 25 housing associations to work for in the Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations 2018.

In  this role, you will manage the work of contractors as well as undertake a full range of building surveying duties in order to maintain and improve CHP’s property portfolio stock, ensuring that our responsibilities as a landlord and service provider are upheld in line with current and future legislation.

With an HNC/HND in a construction related discipline and experience in the management of contracts using NHF Schedules, you will prepare detailed schedules of works/tender documents and advise on property conditions and prepare costs against these.

Access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential. A car allowance of £1,056 per annum will be paid in addition to the annual salary. A business mileage rate for duties relating to CHP business will also be applied. Experience of property asset management/property management of a complex and varied portfolio would be advantageous.
