Job Details

The Pan E Property Portfolio Department Manager is the pivotal role in actively leading Company Senior Management, and Branch Presidents in the management and development of the Group's properties across Europe. The role provides in-house expertise and resource to support the strategic, tactical and operational management of the Pan European property portfolio.

Our Client is a Major Global Company operating in the automotive industry. They have a an excellent reputation within there market and are one of the few that continue grow with hard economic times. They are looking for an ambitious Property Portfolio Manager to cover the European region of their market and share and drive the growth with them.

Description

The Pan E Property Portfolio Department Manager will have regular contact with Senior Management as well as other support functions including Legal, HR, Procurement as well as other BA departments (mainly Financial Accounting, Treasury & Tax).

Key Accountability's:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of a long-term Pan E property portfolio strategy with regular reporting to Senior Management including the Regional Operating Board.
  • Accountable for a consistent, strategic, approach to the Pan E property portfolio management applied at local level.
  • Plan, together with the Branch team, the property management activities (incl. buy, hold, sell decisions) identifying risk areas and designing & agreeing their mitigation.
  • Working with the Branches ensuring there is an active communication process with key stakeholders - including legal, taxation and internal & external advisers.
  • Bring expertise to the management and development of the Property Portfolio
  • Project managing activities as required at both smaller and larger scale*. Support and monitor, through the Branches, the execution of all property related projects.
  • When required, supervise developers and consultants to ensure delivery of projects within quality, time and budget requirements.

Profile

  • Experience and proven track record in property portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication skills, quickly able to establish credibility with management, project leaders and internal & external stakeholders.
  • Self driven and motivated to succeed.
  • Ability to guide and lead non-technical personnel to technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, project planning and management
  • MRICS Desirable
