Assistant Building Surveyor

An award-winning private practice based in the City of London are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor (12+ months industry experience) to join their close-knit team.

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will be joining a practice who boast an enviable APC first-time pass rate and will receive regular CPD and training sessions.

This consultancy has an extremely low staff-turnover rate and have grown year on year since prior to the 2008 recession due to both acquisition of new business and organic growth.

  • Specification writing
  • Contract administration
  • Dilapidations
  • Schedules of condition
  • Defect diagnosis

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor

  • 12+ months Private Practice/Consultancy experience
  • Driven by the prospect of achieving MRICS chartership
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-facing demeanour

In return, the successful Assistant Building Surveyor will receive
