Senior Quantity Surveyor

Based in Gibraltar, AKS Management Ltd seek an ambitious individual with an in-depth knowledge of all Quantity Surveying procedures and JCT contracts, who is capable of controlling costs and contracts on £multi-million projects from inception to completion. 

Our projects range from relatively modest refurbishments to mixed use residential and commercial developments up to £60 million. We are also instructed on a diverse range of projects from very high end private villas, hotels, offices and sports facilities.

We work for both the public and private sector in Gibraltar’s buoyant economy.

 As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, your duties and responsibilities will focus around the following:

• Pre and Post Contract duties
• Cost Planning / Estimating / Tender Preparation
• Contract Administration and Final Accounts
• Value Engineering and Procurement
• Establishing cost management procedures and leading all matters relating to sound commercial management.

  The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a team who are going through a period of growth due to their increasing work load with the same mindset of developing impressive portfolios of clients across a range of sectors.

  The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will possess the following:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience ideal as PQS or Client side.
• MRICS qualified
• In depth knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Strong Quantity Surveying experience within the Residential, Commercial, Education and/or Retail sectors
• Excellent communicator, team player, team leader, client facing and commercially astute

  Salary £50k negotiable, 20 days annual leave
