Building Surveyor - Employers Agent. Commercial & Residential. Bromley, UK

(Recently MRICS qualified or having completed a relevant degree course and working towards APC.)

Salary up to £35,000.00 plus benefits

Our client, a prestigious award winning multi-disciplined construction and property consultancy is searching for an Employers Agent to join their growing team.

Acting as Employer’s Agent and Client Representative on a wide range of high profile new build housing and regeneration projects within London and the surrounding Counties.  You will work alongside a senior team member, responsible for seeing projects through from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality.  You will report directly to a Partner within the practice.

The Role:

• The ability to lead a project and report directly to a client with some support from senior members of staff.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Good understanding of construction technology, sufficient to carry out quality inspections and reports.
• An ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, members of the project team and your client in order to ensure the successful completion of a development.
• An ability to keep accurate records through minutes, risk registers, client reports and internal filing processes.
• A sound understanding of D&B forms of building contract in order to effectively meet your obligations as an Employer’s Agent.
• Experience of the administration of Development Agreements is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in compiling tender packages and Contract Documents is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in undertaking tender analysis and producing tender reports is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in measurement surveying using the RICS Code of Measuring Practice (RICS Property Measurement) is desirable but not essential.

You:

• Recently MRICS qualified or having completed a relevant degree course and working towards APC.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.
• CSCS card.
