The Practice

SFP Property is a chartered surveying practice covering Greater London, London, Essex and the Home Counties. The practice provides services for its various clients within the commercial and residential property sectors. SFP Property acts as agent in the sale, purchase and valuation of commercial and residential property for lenders, private owners, developers, investors, insolvency practitioners, asset managers, financial institutions and charities.

Working with this diverse client base, SFP Property provides an integrated property consultancy with a wide range of service offerings. 

SFP Property is part of the SFP Group, which provide a mix of services within the commercial finance sector. The Group assists businesses with access to new finance as well as providing services to landlords and lenders, including independent business reviews, forensic accounting, asset recovery and debt restructuring. Whatever the requirements, SFP Property works with its clients to ensure the best possible outcome. 

The Candidate – Graduate 

The candidate will have an RICS accredited degree and will have ideally commenced their APC with some related industry experience. 

As well as a structured training programme you will be supported to become RICS professional qualified. There are excellent career prospects within the practice. 

You will have achieved a minimum 2:2 degree in land/estate/ management, or surveying. You will have good communication, organisational and team-working skills and a full driving licence. You must be able to demonstrate genuine passion for the role, together with a commitment to on-going learning and personal development. Whilst structured learning is key, you will also have the opportunity to “get involved” and show us what you’re made of from the start. The ability to be proactive and work on your own initiative is therefore crucial.

The candidate will support the Director in providing advice to the various clients of the practise. He or she will be/have:-

  • Highly motivated
  • Have excellent communication skills and be well presented
  • IT literate and comfortable with Excel and Word
  • A current driving licence 
  • Keen to learn
  • Prepared to travel, at short notice

The Role

This will be a varied role assisting the Director in dealing with a wide variety of work on a day to day basis. 

The role will involve travel and getting involved on a granular level in a wide range of interesting cases throughout London and the UK.
