Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Elgin/Moray, Up to £19 per hour, 3mth contract to permanent job, flexible working

For this job, a well-known organisation, offering flexible working patterns, are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to fulfil a role for a minimum of 3 months with a view to going into a permanent contract thereafter.

Your new role
In this job, you'll assist with the development of a high quality, efficient and effective Quantity Surveying service as directed by the leadership team, all in accordance with the needs and priorities of the organisation, relative to building maintenance contracts received from internal and external Clients. You'll be given a chance to take responsibility for cost aspects of allocated projects from inception to completion as well as preparing tender documents according to the contract type.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a Quantity Surveying qualification and ideally some experience working with a contractor, developer or practice. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Quantity Surveyor. You'll need to have an HNC/HND in Quantity Surveyor but ideally be degree level educated in the discipline. Recent University graduates will be considered although the preferred candidate will have at least 1-2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
