Interim Town Planner / Planning Officer for Householder and Major planning applications.RTPI


Interim Town planner/ principle planner is needed by a busy planning department within a local authority. You will be working within a large team and provide support on a temporary basis to help clear the back log of planning applications and process new ones.

As an experienced planner , you will be working across the full range of Householder and Major applications for planning permissions. The surrounding area has a good mix of retail, industrial and rural developments including householder and major applications.


What you'll need to succeed
A relevant planning or building qualification and a proven track record of relevant experience within local authority planning departments is required. Excellent communication and IT skills are definitely needed.


What you'll get in return
the contract is initially up until end of March 2019. A very competitive hourly rate of up to £40 per hour subject to experience.
