A very reputable and established Chartered Surveyors Practice are in need for a driven Senior Building Surveyor to contribute positively towards their vibrant team covering South East region.

* Salary up to £60,000 - £65,000 (experience)

Your duties will be;

• Liaise, with assistance from Project Co-ordinator, with Property Managers and clients to confirm the nature and extent of the works.
• Provide initial advice in order to secure instructions.
• Attend meetings with Property Managers and keep up to date with progress.
• Inspect property and draft schedules of works, specifications or reports.
• Discuss draft specification or final report with client.
• Finalise specification and obtain instructions to tender.
• Tender works.
• Prepare a tender report and recommendations to the client.
• Assist with queries raised during Section 20 consultation process (Section 20 carried out by Property Managers).
• When instruction received, to prepare contract.
• Contract Administration.
• Liaise with outsourced CPM.
• Work as a team player with existing team.
• Report weekly/monthly progress to Associate Director/Project Co-Ordinator.
• Build relationships and confidence with Property Managers within the company.
• Take responsibility for work.
• Passionate about quality of work and completing to the highest standard (Quality and Compliance).

If you are interested in joining their team you first must have experience in the following;

• Preferably MRICS qualified
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Understanding of Residential Management legislation
• Well developed interpersonal and oral communication skills
• lessee/client customer focus experience
• Commercially aware
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload under pressure
• Good numerical skills
• Diplomacy skills
• IT skills including Specification software
• Full UK clean driving licence
