About the role:

Based in our Faculty of Science and Engineering, the School of Engineering and the Built Environment offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in architecture, civil engineering, construction/project management, quantity and building surveying, town planning and mechanical engineering. We’re seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to teach building surveying to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As a Building Surveyor who is chartered or capable of achieving chartered status within 18 months, you’ll have experience of working as a general practice surveyor or similar role. Under the supervision of the Head of School, you’ll be responsible for teaching building surveying and other related subjects. You’ll be committed to developing a research/consultancy profile and prepared to work as part of a multi-disciplinary research/consultancy team in the area of Future Cities.
