Associate Director Client Portfolio Management

Key Responsibilities:

This person will act as a real estate expert resource for the sales teams, keeping them focussed on real estate opportunities and clients through the following activities:

• Attending prospect and client pitches/meetings
• Working with dedicated consultant team on RFPs, RFIs, DD processes and subscription processes
• Originating /developing relationships with Real Estate specific prospective investors in collaboration with the sales teams
• Developing the existing client base further
• Understanding specific client needs and suggesting ideas to product management team for new products, services, club deals etc. then helping to bring them to market
• Supporting the Fund Management Team in their client advocate role for assigned funds /mandates

The role will initially focus on institutional investors for two existing funds and in time will shift focus to raising HNW capital for a new, global Fund. The successful candidate won't be required to 'knock down doors' but will interpret and react to client needs and will synthesize the market's investment appetites and report back on these to the product development team.

The role will have a significant client interface, both new and existing clients, and the successful candidate will have strong relationship building skills along with the real estate-focused technical skills to credibly articulate the investment strategy and the opportunity

Preferred level of experience is 3 years as a minimum, 8 as a maximum and ideally c. 5-6 years.

• Demonstrable relevant work experience with relevant qualifications, in a comparable position in an international business environment within Real Estate Investment Management
• Excellent understanding of the real estate investment industry and products, understanding of the real estate market's key drivers.
• Superior client relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English; other European languages are beneficial.
• Computer literate: MS office, with advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint
