Senior Lecturer in Real Estate

Permanent, full-time

£39,609 - £50,132 (pro rata if part-time)

The Department of Architecture and the Built Environment seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Real Estate to contribute to and enhance teaching, research and knowledge exchange in the real estate subject area. We are looking for confident and reflective educators who are willing to adapt their style and delivery to the needs of different audiences and committed to providing a supportive learning environment.

Reporting to the Associate Head of Department, the post holder, in addition to teaching, will actively lead and participate in the design, development, delivery and assessment of a module(s), take overall responsibility for the academic health and currency of the module and be accountable for the quality of the student learning and assessment experience.

The postholder will also be expected to engage in research activities, external networks and develop themselves as an academic through personal research, knowledge exchange activities, the faculty has a policy of supporting newly appointed lecturers with allocated time for research and personal professional development activities and to contribute to the wider life of the Department and Faculty.
